I love to oil pull but sadly I have not experienced some of the wonderfull effects you all talk about. I have had awesome things happen and so have my mom and husband but I do not feel any "zen" or spiritual, or calming effect. My teeth are not whiter, I don't look forward to it but do it because I know it helps me.

I consider myself a spiritual person, matter of fact I do my oil pulling every morning while I read my bible and pray, but so far, oil pulling is done because it's good for me not because of any special feeling.

I wanted to put that out there for those folks who do NOT experience those side affects and think they should not continue. Not everyone has the same experiences, but either way, oil pulling is good for you, so just do it. :)
