What a huge blunder I believe this Iowa TV ad is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQNWHmiGj-k
Whoever cobbled this together and convinced Paul to accept it should be tortured and executed. OK, just chastized and fired.
Here is the message I sent:
I think you should take some of the record setting money you raised from us at the tea party yesterday and put a better ad together for Iowa - or at least change the one you have so that it does not put the abortion/pro-life issue at the very front. That is just a horrible strategic blunder!
I highly suggest that you monitor some of the comments being made by your own supporters who have watched the ad on Youtube. They support Ron Paul - but reaction to the ad is mixed at best, and I join those I saw who said "Ron Paul, Remember the Dream" would be a much better choice.
Part 2 is much better, cobbled together as it is - but I have to wonder how many will be around after deciding that Ron Paul is most concerned above all else with right to life and perhaps that the caring baby doctor would deny illegal alien babies medical care.
I am a huge supporter, multiple donor and have a website page devoted to Ron Paul - I want to win, and that ad is NOT the way to do it!
BTW, I ran my message here by four other avid Ron Paul supporters and they unanimously agreed with me. Here is what one had to say:
"It needs to be redone. Stick with constitution, healthcare, liberty, freedom. I do agree with you."
If any of you agree, I urge you to send in your comments too:
