You are right that life is not fair sometimes. Your new girlfriend is so lucky to have such a kind and considerate person to help her with her future decisions. As you see it now, it was an unfortunate decision. Maybe, as you help her to open up and give you the trust that you feel you can accept; she will be able to relieve herself of this experience. It is better shared. There are multiple sides to stories.
