you say you don't believe these big money religious types, but in this way you are acting EXACTLY like them - you use the bible as a battering ram to smash donw on people with condemnation and to try to enforce your personal viewpoint of what the bible is and what it says and what it means. that is what you and ralph have both done, and it is what big time tv preachers are constantly doing. so mabe you should pay attention to them long enough to see yourself in them.

as for people getting better or whatver, i see it as a spiritual evolution, a journey from a starting point through manny trials and tribulations and then coming to some kind of resolutions, or resolutions. else what would the point be? is not the bible a story, a story with a begining, a middle and and end? does it not detail an ever evolving relationship between us humans and our Creator? it is a journey between the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in genesis to the tree of life in revelations. along this journey we see and understand and learn etc.
