So after battling my adrenal fatigue for some time now, I decided to do a Hair Mineral Test with DDI...
It came back, and as I was expecting I had high levels of Mercury but even higher levels of Copper in my body. From what Ive read, people with adrenal problems always seem to have elevated levels of copper. Copper is responsible for working against adrenals, anxiety, fatigue, restlessness and insomnia at night... which pretty much match my symptoms.
So now the obvious thing to do is some form of chelation therapy to bring my copper levels down. I have heard that Vitamin C, Zinc and Molybdenum can help with this. I have seen other people on different forums use these supplements to successfully bring down their copper.
Now, here is my questions:
1) How long do I chelate for? Weeks? Months? Til I feel better?
2) Could chelation therapy bring down my copper levels too low (Which also is not good and has side effects)
3) Is chelation therapy a once off thing? Or is it ongoing?
I would appreciate anyones input, especially people that have done chelation of heavy metals in the past.
Thanks Alot
