mmm. I am just about to start myself so I'm limited inexperienced based suggestions.

But one thing that perked my ears is that you said you take it in the evening. Now is this right before going to bed? If so, perhaps it doesn't have time to reach the intestines before you lie down for bed.

That's all I can think of.
