i'm talking about having white dry skin leading up to the ex cheilitis... i'm not saying the lips are not getting blood.. they are red that is a sign of blood flow... but i'm referring to the epidermis... when that is picked at ..there should be a resistance between that and the dermis(raw lips)... thats why i think we have damaged the basement membrane.. that is whats connecting the two.
