Hiya Edie,

That sounds like mucus sticking together in a string, containing some liquid fecal matter. Mucus is often produced in the digestive system to protect the stomach and intestinal lining from noxious substances passing through, like a hamburger. It sounds like your Master-Cleanse is scouring out old mucus, which is a good thing!

Mucoid plaque is like a piece of rubber, or often, several clumps of rubber held together by tough thin rubbery strings. It smells awful and can be a variety of colours, but is often greenish or black. If you pull out a piece with a stick, it is flexible, like a rubber tube, and will droop over the stick. A solid bm is stiff and will fall off the stick.

I wouldn't say I'm a pro. But I've done MCs, oil pulling, colon cleansing etc and have seen what digestive and/or pulmonary mucus looks and acts like, and mucoid plaque as well.

Hope this helps!
