It's b/c companies discriminate against hiring them. It's b/c if a man steals bread to feed his family he will still go to jail. It's b/c America has not fully dealt with the former slaves where we can integrate them into first class citizens instead of second-class ones. (They weren't criminals when they were picking cotton for free, for 12 hours days which was half of what made America great)It's b/c affirmative action was taken back, and now, take UC Berkeley, some colleges have the lowest black student population than ever before. If we didn't need affirmative action the black student population would not have precipated(sp)to such small amounts. It's b/c television shows negative images of blacks, where you see them and think about what you saw on tv, and prejudge them. And, finally, it's b/c of bad attitudes such as yours.
