What I meant Fonty was that the original exponents of fasting within the Natural Hygiene movement (where most of the fasting literature originated) did not recommend exercise while fasting for the recovery from disease and ill health, as they found it often meant the difference between success and failure.
I do not doubt some fasting practitioners of today do endorse exercise while fasting, but I am sure they would only recommend this in relatively healthy individuals who want or need to lose weight and other non-serious (as yet) health conditions.
I am also certain that rationally conducted exercise has its place for those fasting individuals who will benefit from it, but a one size fits all approach does not apply to everyone in varying states of health and disease.
In other words, each case should be weighed on merit and the conditions for Fasting in Health are not compatible with the ideal conditions for fasting in disease.
I really support both sides of the argument.
