Wow ldsfireguy, Thanks for the reply. I had read a few articles about chlorine dioxide that suggested a low toxity in pregnant rats, but I'm on so many meds (and will probably have to stay on some of them until pregnant) that I am reluctant to add anything else to the mix.

I will take your comments on board though and do some more reading. I agree in principle that the chlorine dioxide will only help rather than harm, and I even seem to crave it now (apart from when I herx), so don't really want to stop taking it. But I'll do some more soul searching before I decide.

I do own the book The PH Miracle. I think I'll go back and re-read the chapter about sodium chlorite and follow up his references. Thanks so much for taking the trouble to reply.

I had a difficult pregnancy last time, ending up in hospital on numerous occasions with high blood pressure and skyrocketing pulse and bad edema. And I gave birth a month prematurely, so I'd give anything for a healthier pregnancy second time around.
