Ok we all know that MDs don't use herbs - the DO advise patients about how to live healthy lifestyles and eat property, though. I totally agree with you that there are doctors that are in it to make a buck - I had an MD that never asked me any questions and only perscribed. I just don't see the logic in concluding that ALL doctors are like that - it's a completely ignorant view. If you feel that way about your doctor, find a new one. But dismissing years of research due to your overgeneralizations (yes, that's right) is, in my opinion, very ignorant. Have you ever considered that maybe medical and natural health can work in tadem?
