Hi there,

I am a 44 year old woman who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer four months ago. I already eat a type A diet, but last year I started on the Atkins to loose a few pounds..I wish I had not as I think that was not good for me and wonder if the bcancer was exhacerbated by eating all that fat and dairy products. I really wish I had stayed with my blood type A diet. There is a history of bcancer in my family too. I am taking Helix plus capsules and TFA supplements as well as turmeric, co enzyme 10Q, quercetin, arax, vit C etc and Essiac Tea. I am starting quemo after much considertion next week (my tumor was grade 3 not 1 as first thought, but luckily there was no lymph nodes involved or obvious metastasis). Could anyone tell me if I am meant to have this cancer protocol during chemotherapy or would that help the inmune system to become too strong and prevent the drugs working? I am having four-six courses of three drugs together and zoladex to shut my ovaries down, to protect me from an early menopause, so I will also have to contend with symptoms of an enforced menopause for three months or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really believe in the Blood Type Diet and recommend it to everyone I know but I am not sure about what to do during chemo!
