The flukes that I've seen look a lot like the flukes in Clarke's books, sort of like translucent slugs that sometimes have a tinge of red in them, often in the center. Often, I'll only find bits & pieces of flukes, as if part of it had broken off.

I've gotten the tomato-skin looking ones too. I'm not sure what they are. I wonder what a tapeworm-segment looks resembles.
