It isn't toxic so you could sip the whole bottle if you wanted. Just gargle some to get it on the inflamed area then swallow. Should start getting better within 10 minutes. Just gargle a little every hour.

If you had a silver puppy you could sip a whole 14 ounce jar per day and just make a new jar for nothing but the cost of the distilled water.
