The water from my distiller tests 99.99% pure, using a Hanna PWT water meter. I am pretty sure that Hopinso's would too.

I would guess that your filtered water still contains some chlorine, and probably flouride if it is tap water, and other things if it is well water.

Again, this is a subject where there are viable pros and cons on both sides, and it is single-minded to give only one side of the issue.
