verilux should work ok, i have not tried it myself, but i use an led device daily. it works great. i would not use any drying items on my face. light therapy should show great results with 8 or 10 treatments. led (light emiting diode) devices work great, check

for more info. leds also work on all skin problems blemishes, scars, herpes, cold sores etc. plus muscle and joint pain.
