I got LP as a result of taking "Chantix" (a smoking cesstion drug). It was horrible. Bumps, all over my wrists, feet, waist, spots on my back. Itching was very bad. I was distressed!
I went to a brilliant dermatologist years ago at UCLA medical center. I tracKed him down, and although he is out of private practice, he refered me to another brilliant Dr. He diagnosed me right away and gave me a shot of Methotrexate & Cortisone. Three weeks later. NO MORE LP! Staining on skin a little, but no more itching and bumps are gone. Check this out. Every web site I have searched says there is no cure, but I got to tell you. This guy knows his stuff. He teaches at USC.
