Oh, okay, I'm sure that's the reason. Do 2-3 months of DMSA before trying ALA again.

If your bloodstream levels of mercury are higher than what's in your brain, then ALA will actually carry it INTO the brain and central nervous system. So get the blood mercury way down before trying it again. :-)
