hi, yes, i experienced similar feelings, and it was driving me crazy until i got tested and realized i had adrenal fatigue. not knowing what it was for several months made it worse. my similarities were basically a tremendous anxiety, linked to what felt like a constant stream of adrenaline, then panic attacks. it was horrible. sleep was difficult, and i would wake up eaxch morning like a shot out of a gun. my mind was racing, and like you said, i felt like i just wanted to step out of my skin, because it was a nightmare in there. i had obsessive thoughts that would lead to more panic attacks. if i were you i'd get tested. get the saliva test for cortisol. it's the best thing i did. just knowing that i had a major physical imbalance was a relief, because i knew i wasn't crazy, but i was worried about it. it's been about 8 month's since i was tested and began a protocol, and i've had some ups and downs but i am significantly improved(no more panic attacks, much better sleep, better mind, just working mostly on getting energy back now), and feel it's just a matter of time before i am back to normal. you are pretty young, and the fact that you will not have to get up early for work soon is a big plus. good luck and let us know hoew it goes.
