thanks for the reply. i did apply the zz cream daily for about over a month, then i ended up trying a different, unrelated product (witch hazel/tea tree/lavender astringent) but am using the remaining zz cream i have left. i also went out and bought a kiddie microscope tonight ($10 at KayB!) so i can test for the mites and know for sure...

i'll keep you posted; these bumps are ridiculous, and when they finally get enflamed enough to erupt, there are long strings of white goo, sometimes an oily like plug and then white. nasty stuff to talk about!

i'll keep you posted, but what are your thoughts on diet and mites? i'm sure that certain foods elevate sebum/oil production in the skin, making it a better environment for the mites to thrive in and multiply?
