yes, there is a cream. I think the pills were called zovirax, too. Acyclovir. Not sure what the brand name is vs the company or the drug.

You know, I just recalled that Lysine really helps keep the outbreaks down. And for many people, eating a lot of salty sunflower seeds can actually cause an outbreak. I've heard some people say that a number of foods cause them outbreaks - things like chocolate (thank GOD I didn't ever have that reaction - I'm an addict.)

Anyway, perhaps this will help someone out there reading this.
