I mixed it with prune juice because it had no vit C. Other than that, I can't think if why it would be any different than apple juice or a vegetable juice. I don't ACTIVATE it with prune juice - for that I make a 10% solution out of fresh squeezed lemons. But I have swallowed it down with prune juice. Never found a reason why I shouldn't, except that it seems to protect me from ill feelings.
