About 4 times the recommended dose on the herb directions. It's very hard to guess at a correct dose with herbs, because it depends on the age of the preparation, and all sorts of factors including the variety of the plant and the methods used for drying it. It stands to reason that all of these things are going to effect the herbs potency.

I just started slow, and kept upping the dose until my feces turned yellow (which they will) kept it at that dose , in my case 4 to 6 500 milligram caps, until I got results. But herbs just really aren't calibrated like commercial drugs, and the measurments on the packaging really don't have much meaning, I think you have to play it by ear.
