we had three cats and two exotic birds we were babysitting for two years while the owners were on a tour of duty in hawaii. this was about 10 years ago. we cooked pancakes on a nonstick griddle. one day that griddle got particularly hot. the two birds died(the kind that live 50 years or so). the cats got lazy and fat and paranoid. years later, when i started making silver, i gave a bunch to my cats. one particular cat, the matron of the bunch that we called Mo(larry, mo and curly - its a long story) was the worse, the fattest and the most paranoid - slinking around the house, staying hidden most of the time and always walking in a crouched manner. she always tensed up when she was picked up and did not like contact at all. food was the only thing she responded to in a positive manner.

after the silver was in their water for about a week, a profound change took place in all the cats, but most pronounced in mo-mo. she started losing weight. she became more active. she became more social, both with the other cats and with us. by the time we lost her(she bolted into the wilderness of alaska on our trip moving to missouri), she was becoming a very friendly cat and had slimmed down a lot.

such is the power of fluoride in teflon to destroy and of CS to heal. the government should go after dupont instead of utopia!
