Hello. Did you ever wonder Who you were in the dream? According to your statments, your propensity to dream about the future is situated about world-wide events. To me this dream seems to be the case. You are probably dreaming about a SYMBOLIC situation that may happen to someone else. Dreams are always HIGHLY symbolic and usually don't mean exactly what they are. Usually things like feelings and nuances in the dream may help suggest what the spirit world is trying to tell you. It's probably something that has been going on in your life ever since you first had the dream, and you still haven't managed to gain any clarity on the situation. Try to feel in your subconscious mind, and stop using your rational mind! You're trying to think with your ego, and that's making you feel fear, and you will never figure it out using ego-generated fear.
I've had dreams that were premonitions. They were extrememly ditressing, but I almost always was representing someone else in these dreams. Hope this helps!
