I think a few of us often intertwine fecal body odor with leaky gut. but I know for myself that I'm one of the 'aura' types. usually under stress or excitement, and I have a really bad body odor. It's worse when I drink beer and colas and sugar juices.  However, I think I also have leaky gut.. but sometimes I get one and not the other...

I've read up a lot.. It's kind of hard to think that with all the sufferers that doctors know nothing about it. I'm starting to think it may be a bunch of separate ailments that mingle..

I know that sometimes, depending on what I've eaten, I can have different scents.. some darker, some sweeter.. I also think I suffer from an acute form of hyperhydrosis.. or excessive sweating. I'm not talking constantly wet but that I always kind of felt a film gradually build up on my skin.. oily. but there are times where I sweat like mad and the scent is ridiculous.

I also have leaky gut which backs up fecal matter into the blood stream and I have that mucous sometimes on my anus. depending on what I've eaten etc. This I think is completely separate but it attributes to why the fecal smell.. the addition of fecal toxins to the blood stream.. being processed and excreted through my overactive sweating.. but I don't notice it as sweat until I feel that kind of gunky build up, right because it's acute..

But I know that I have 'pulses' sometimes where it feels like my pores are opening and I can kind of put myself in a state where I just blank my mind and the smell goes away.. and then when I get interrupted I have another pulse of bad odor. I am also adding the fact that when I let my body sweat naturally - no deodorants, I have a sweet musky underarm sweat smell. But since I'm redhead we have certain smells that work with us so I don't mind when I smell like that (unless of course I get REALLY anxious (I take meds for it) and then I sweat and I feel wet under my arms, my forehead and back.. and even then it's kind of an aura.

So what I'm thinking is that these are intertwined. Some have candidis (or that yeast thing), most had or have bad diets, most tried one remedy that worked for a bit and then it came back, gave up and then it creeped back to its original funk..  I always smelled sweet and I was called G-Funk, kind of au natural earth kid.. so I smelled before but it worked with me.. and then I will admit I did some drugs and lots of booze and I became really self conscious.. than I did LSD once and had a bad night because I had a really really big excrement that reeked the bathroom up.. PLUS no toilet paper, plus all that junk I was putting in my body (including my 4 years of College eating habits and fast food) and of COURSE I had a bad trip. And I can PINPOINT the aura to that night and subsequently after. Up until then any bad bo was poor hygiene (i couch hopped on the weekends since I lived out of town) and leaky gut from a relaxed digestive system thanks to drugs and alcohol...

So I'm pretty sure its multiple ailments masking themselves as fecal body odor. when really leaky gut put the toxins in the blood, over active sweat glands (although not wet) excreted the toxins and mixed with sweat and bacteria made bad body odor, and then the nervousness, stress and embarassment which causes  it all to flare up..

I also think my adrenal glands are acting up which I read somewhere can cause bad odor.. 

Does this make ANY sense? Does anyone share similar paths?
