Emotional reactions are almost always detox of bromide, and can be prevented by doing the salt protocol. Take the salt an hour before the iodine. If symptoms, repeat the salt. Please read the FAQs on detox, especially emotional detox. You should also be having three bowel movements per day so as not to retox rather than eliminating the toxins. Sounds like you both will have to go very slow at first. You can take a drop twice a week to start, or even less.

I encourage you not to give up due to the detox symptoms. If you read the FAQs you will see that it sometimes gets worse before it gets better, but it is SO worth it.
