castor oil can be ingested. I believe it was San??? in this forum (look through archives) that spoke about it being taken internally and her experience with it. Which, by the way, was very good for her.

OH and back many years ago, it was given for constipation and such, internally. IF it is not suggested like that now, it is erring on the side of caution. Castor oil is not the best tasting (IMO) oil although it is supposed to be the best working oil.
