I know, but I guess when it's the paradigm you've been taught you have 'faith' in it, to a degree and you have 'fear' when considering something outside the box.
I know that when I stopped taking Antibiotics and over the counter meds, and started fasting and cleansing, my immune system was beefed up and I have NEVER gotten bronchitis again. In 1994, I was SO bad, that I had it about 4-5 times that year, and it would last about 3-5 weeks each time. A chiro told me that if I didn't get off the Antibiotics , I would get worse and worse (and I could not imagine what was worse than THAT!)
This friend of mine has been investigating many things in the realm of diet, and is even open to this information (BTD). But he's a bachelor who's very busy with two high responsibility jobs and his girlfriend is a nurse sold out to the medical model. However, she's been investigating cleanses and flushes also, and is very smart and I'm sure will find her way. But you know how it is...when you're taught all the DIS-eases and the diagnoses, that's what you spring back to naturally...the allopathic route most often. Sadly, he has three grandchildren on psych meds and she has four children on psych meds. That's very sad...but I'm not in their shoes and it's not for me to judge or handle their affairs as I haven't walked a mile in their shoes. He doesn't have control over the grandkids anyway, even though he would love to input into their lives.
I just pray that they can find the pathway to health and healing, just as I am hoping for myself and my children. Obviously, without that chiro years ago speaking some firm words to me, I would have been in a very, very bad situation myself with all that recurrent bronchitis, etc. That's why these forums are so good, because 'no man is an island' as they say. We all need each other and learn much from one another!
Thanks for your post! Have a great day.
