Namaste Healer George,

I am a 58 yr. old woman who becan having periods of intermittent pain under lower left ribs 4 yrs. ago. Primary Dr. sent me to GI & he did colonoscopy & removed 2 small benign polyps; but, said that had nothing to do with the pain.

There can be anywhere from several weeks to many months between these rib pain outbreaks. I am Reiki3 & use this constantly plus other forms of healing/energy medicine.

My latest bout started at the end of Feb. [following death of youngest sister] and has been constant & worse since then. My ribs actually hurt & Dr. finally did x-ray & found nothing. Sent me to G.I. again & had CT scan done, which showed "impaction" where transverse colon makes sharp curve to descending. While waiting the 3 weeks for the appointment with G.I. I did 2 round of Fleet laxative. When I finally saw G.I. he said that impaction in that area was very normal & to come back in another year for another colonoscopy. He said everything "looked fine". When I asked "what about the pain?" her told me to take Tylenol!

I eat plenty of fiber [35 + grams daily] drink 1/2 my body weight in oz's of water & day, have regular [1-2 daily] bm's. So, after reading a lot I decided this "impaction" must be mucoid plaque & am planning a thorough cleanse...incorporating prayer, meditation, Reiki, etc. as well as the "physical" cleansing routine.

However, having said all that, I also don't see how I can be SO impacted that this could be the source of the pain & still be having regular bm's...particularly considering my fiber & water intake. I am just very concerned & puzzled as to what/why this dis-ease remains so persistent...can't figure out what I am not letting go off!

I realize that there is emotional/physical/trauma being "held" in that area & have been working on that for many years. That is how I was introduced to energy medicine & one of the reasons I pursued this field.

I could really use your help & guidance in how to proceed.
