Sup im "#48427".. i wasnt to sure on how all of you would of reacted to my post so i decided to go anonymous :).
yeah well sadly not all parents take the time to actually consider this. im sure if you met the teenager version fo then you would be able to relate but now its kind of hard to connect to what kids are going through. i mean my parents are wonderful people but i mean i cant really rmeember the last time i felt i could sit down with my parents and tell them everything. My dads very strict so every little mistake i make is huge to him but my mom is always fustrated with my two younger sisters. since im the eldest they expect me to do everything they cant do. My parents let me hang with my friends and everything but i mean.. Consider this... How many parents will actually sit down with their kid and explain whats they should aim for and why for guys they might feel a sudden attraction to girls and etc. i mean kids arent going to be the ones to bring it up. School is important to us but you have to consider everything that goes on and it doesnt just have to be with our lives and etc but with yours and the people around us. As u kno all kids are different. You wonder why some kids are out there slitting their wrists.. doing drugs.. and etc. Sometimes they dont feel appreciated and loved by their family. I mean we know "most" adults love their kids but by yelling at them when they do something wrong, or by constantly just pressuring them about school you dont show it. I mean a simple 5 minutes to talk to your kida nd let them talk and you listen is usually enough.
Well if you have more questions post em cuz id be happy to answer em.. Eh u can email me anytime.. surfincp@aol.com
