I agree with you Karlin and have been wondering also if this "WAR" in Iraq is really happening the way we think it is. Is it a "WAR" against an army? No, it is not an army that is being fought. There used to be alot of BATTLE news coverage in other wars, but in the first war with Iraq, a news team was INVITED to go with a team of Navy Seals on a secret mission AT NIGHT and the leader of the news team was told BY THE SEALS to turn on the camera light as the Seals walked on to the beach (AT NIGHT). The reporters thought it was a crazy request that they should be expected to turn on the camera light in a secret mission, but were assured that it should be done.

The military later used this excuse to control/restrict news coverage of ALL military operations. Now the media can only be EMBEDDED (assigned to accompany troops and remain under scrutiny subject to constant approval and eventual censorship).

The Navy Seal incident was a SETUP.

Is the military over in Iraq simply attacking "freedom fighters"? Is the security over here in the U.S. more to maintain a tight grip (control) on the people, weed out all dissidents, override the constitution, and tighten the laws? No law enforcement officer is going to object to any "overreaction" of increasing the budget for security, but probably only 20% of the current security budget is necessary (or maybe the terrorists really are so incompetent that they couldn't destroy us in six years). I see so many elevated train tracks, stations, bridges, etc. that are amazingly vulnerable yet absolutely no kind of security (certainly not 24/7).

What do we see today...a "Matrix"?
