Actually, I've seen some testimonials that said it can be missed in a person who hasn't eaten any wheat or gluten in awhile...so I really can't say for sure. Another thing to consider is a person may be clear of celiac's and then have some sort of stressful event happen in their life, and then they cross the line to become celiac....so it's good to check again....
