We are told we cannot trust ourselves to
find something wrong. The salesmen of such
machines claim the machines are more
efficient, so the lie is that mammograms
are the best we can do~~we fear being
wrong if we decide not to cave in. My
internist would say I am not following
her orders and threaten to dump me and
yet I was supposed to have a yearly
physical examination and for me that was
waaaay too much irradiation so, even if
it did not hurt, I would have said no
since my intuition screams to me, NO
more xrays. It also makes me wonder why
people find it so easy to summit to xrays
in airports as if it is nothing.
Ultimately, the way to lowering the
incidences of Breast Cancer IS prevention...
