What is the difference between raw foods and salads?

By raw do you mean things like carrots, and cabbage and by salads do you mean lettuce tomatoes etc

I am wondering what I can eat that is raw other than those?

A huge list of mouthwatering stuff, excluding beetroot would be great.
Don't do beetroot forced on me as a child and it now has no place in my life!!!
