If you want to treat hypoglycemia then you need to know what causes it. It certainly cannot be treated by single remedies, as these do not generally address the causes of hypoglycemia. Once you understand the underlying biochemistry of insulin resistance which is responsible for its various forms of hypoglycemia, you should be able to treat it. Conventional doctors have no idea, because they do not recognize pre-diabetic hypoglycemia, which is not in their text books. Pre-diabetic insulin resistance is responsible for a host of "degenerative" diseases for which there are many palliative drugs enriching the medico-pharmaceutical industrial complex. Drugs generally are palliatives and treat symptoms without addressing the underlying causes of the illness. Conventional treatment of hypoglycemia would follow the same path but fortunately hypoglycemia cannot be treated by drugs. So fortunately pharmaceutical companies are not interested in researching it. Medical research is done pretty exclusively by pharm. companies for the sake of money. This is why hypoglycemia is a "forgotten disease". But we sufferers can help ourselves by nutritional means. All we need is to be educated. I am particularly interested in the relation between hypoglycemia and the various mood disorders, conventionally called "mental illness". Mainly because of my personal experiences with "mental illness" for many years.
