A possible alternative is the "Copper T" I love mine. It is a non-hormonal IUD. I'm on my second one!! The main complaint I've had from it is a heavier period, with a little more cramping, but that's alleviated if I remember to double my calcium during that time of the month. Perhaps you should look into it!
