Hiya Fangirl,
Here's a link to cheap detox foot pads/patches:

This is only one of several order sizes. I clicked on the smallest order so you could try them first, and if you like them, get a larger bulk order (cheaper in the long run). If they get hard while still in the plastic, don't worry, they will still mold to your feet and will be soggy with toxins and other dirt in the morning.
You can get detox foot pads from many sources, including some better-stocked drugstores near you, but they are more expensive. Detox foot pads are controversial, some swear by them, others say they're a hoax because they turn brown even in clean water. I've used them and found they reduced toxin signs elsewhere in the body, so I recommend them, regardless of colour changes in water. Since toxins are created by metabolism, no matter how well you eat, I think you could buy a large lot of them (if you like the results of a smaller lot) and use them occassionally, especially when you're doing something toxic or removing toxins. Just my thoughts!
The formula for guaging your need for water: half your weight in ounces. If you are 116 pounds, then 116/2 = 58 ounces, or 7 and 1/4 cups of water. However, I found during the Master-Cleanse that I needed much more. If you wake up with a "cotton mouth" in the morning, you need more water. Increase beyond your minimum to whatever feels comfortable. Your body will tell you what it needs!
I think you are quite correct in your perception of weight loss: It means less toxins out (and also less toxins to remove via detoxing methods). This is different for every person and over time as well. I lost most of my weight at the beginning of my MC, a little during the middle (days 7 - 15) and then steadily, little by little, some near the end (days 15 - 22). Even when coming off the MC, I lost a little. I've kept it off with diet changes and a modest increase in exercise. Like you, weight loss itself was not a goal for me, but a welcome side benefit; I was after toxin removal. So watching your tongue and other signs of toxin presence will help you, especially if you want to detox more when there appear to be more toxins freed up (mobilized) in your system than your body can easily eliminate.
However, there's another possibility for variable weight loss: I think, in some stages, the body is building new tissue even as the fat is being lost. On those days, there wouldn't be much change in weight. This is just a guess, and I'd love to hear other peoples' opinions on this.
If your tongue is still white, then toxins are still strongly present in your digestive/pulmonary system. I've read of some people who don't seem to get a white tongue, and others who have done a 40-day Master-Cleanse and still had a white tongue when they stopped. I was lucky; my tongue cleared towards the end of my 22-day MC. I thought of it as a kind of toxin "thermometer:" When the coating was thick and sticky, a lot of toxins had mobilized out of tissue and were wandering the blood and lymph passageways, and being deposited in the digestive and pulmonary systems, to be moved out of the body. On those days it's a good idea to get them moving out as much as you can, before they get cause havoc (headaches, dizziness, brain fog...) and before they get reabsorbed. I've posted a few ideas on methods you could try. When your tongue is pink, hallelujah! The floaters are gone and tissue rebuilding has a better chance to occur. Just my thoughts!
