If you are flushing then two things: keep the bowels open and take the probiotics as doc suggested. A balance of fiber along with LBB type herbs are good for me. They regulate my energy keeping it steady for long hours. If I just take the LBB type colon formula without fiber the transit time is too fast and it upsets my blood sugar. Your requirements are certainly going to be different than mine as we all our individuals.
For probiotics I make home made kefir that is really quite mild and tends to be more velvety and silky than yogurt. I make it in a crockpot from raw local milk so its quite easy and never fails. The good bacteria in kefir actually implants the colon. Yogurt's bacteria will not implant the colon.
For pain relief try this. Take cold showers! Yes cold showers. Nothing like them for addressing aches and pains and for sound sleep at night. Here is the link...

Here is a good recipe. I call it my Dulse Dandelion Delight!
One medium bunch of organic fresh dandelion
1 large handful whole dulse leaf
Onion to taste (1/2 to 1 onion)
Butter or favorite cooking oil
Chop dandelion greens in two inch sections.
Boil small amount of water in pot.
Add dandelion (covered by water).
Cut heat off and let steep 5-10 minutes. Do not cook dandelion.
Steep like a tea. SAVE the dandelion water for later.
Sautee onions (garlic, scallions whatever) in butter or oil
Add the dandelion and dulse. Do not cook this.
Just cut the heat off and let it meld for 2-3 minutes.
Toss, serve and eat. Yum!
Requires no seasoning since the dulse is salty and flavorful. The savory nature of the dulse totally complements the sweetness of the onions and the bitter taste of the dandelion. The dandelion will not be that bitter since the parboil removes excess bitterness. Drink the dandelion liquid the next day as a hot or cold tea.
Wow! This is power food and great for the liver and the kidneys. Fresh organic dandelion tea and the DDD dish is out of this world!
all the best!
