Great post - I would add MSM taken internally to the mix as its is also involved in building healthy tissue/new collagen in the skin and the rest of the body. Plus its a body cleanser/detoxifier.

Also, L'lysine is very affordable. NOW has a powder form which you can find at Iherb.com by the pound.
