Fledgling, I just read your post, and I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate what you said.

I am glad that you continue to use proper English, and that you type all of your posts on these forums with care. I am perplexed by the contemporary disregard for proper English in all regards. I see no reason not to capitalize, punctuate, and spell properly when I am writing an e-mail or a post. I'm not perfect but I attempt to keep my written language standard high!

By the way, I am a "young person." I find those spelling and homophone mistakes highly annoying! "To" and "Too" are all too often confused!
