my period was like that too somewhat. it had only been 6 wks. since i had, had my baby and i was breasfeeding. it caused me to start my period, but just brown spotting on and off for awhile, then i would get my period every 1 to 2 weeks, but it was very light. that was the only thing that i didn't mind about having the iud. the dr. told me that if i started cramping bad or bleeding bad to see him. but i didn't have that just a bunch of other problems. it even caused a freckle to swell and get hard. i had a biopsy on it, but no cancer, thank God. i didn't have any bad oder though. good luck with everything. i know how frustrating it can be.
