Lugol's is aggresive in terms of resources.

You might try finding out how many drops it takes to paint one knee.

Then take the same number of drops and add vitamin C to the point of color change.

See if this reduces or increases skin irratation?

Perhaps adding EVO to the mix might be of benefit?
