The book that got me started on the no-yeast diet is The Yeast Connection by Dr. Cook. I had what they though was oral thrush until they did a biopsy on the blisters, and it's Lichen Planus - and it only breaks out when the yeast is out of control. You must stop all sugar, dairy, yeast, alcohol and processed or packaged foods. When I started this years ago, I also had to take Diflucan every day for 2 1/2 months before the female-type candida symptoms went away. That's supposed to be a one-time pill that you only take one of.
