This is a very interesting point.

Im just wondering, are u suggesting the Chemo kills the stomach cells, which force fasting onto the patient, which enhances immunity & other things u listed to kill the cancer cells?

i.e Chemo = death of cells in digestive system = fasting = Body heals itself

My understanding is that the reason Chemo makes ppl unable to eat, is that the chemicals r designed to attack RNA and DNA in Fastly multiplying cells. This is usually done by alternating between 2 main chemo drugs;

E.g in Leukemia, Cytarabine (an Antimetabolite) and Idarubicin (AN Anthracycline) to attack the Nucleic acids thru 2 different methods or 'angles', so that cells cant defend against it.

So Hair is first to go as it is the has the fastest cell division, followed by the digestive system. Fastest cell division within the digestive system is probably in mouth and stomach, followed by intestines etc. (Not exactly sure in which order)

So thats y the doctor is saying 'if chemo does not make a patient too sick to eat, it does not work well.' because if the chemicals arent killing these cells and making the patient sick, then how can it be effectively killing the cancerous cells?

i.e Chemo = death of rapidly multiplying cells in Hair, digestive system, cancer

So my point is, that if the patient is getting sick, the cancer cells must be dying, at least to some degree due to the action of the chemicals, and not because of 'forced fasting', Although i know it can be a beneficial alternative on its own.
