Secretor status has to do with whether the antigens of your blood type are present in your saliva (and other body fluids besides blood). If they are present, you are a secretor; if not, a non-secretor.

About 80 percent of the population secretes. But Dr. D'Adamo noticed that about 80 percent of office visits at his clinic are from non-secretors.
