Hi
just read your post - all I can do is relate to my experience -
I got caught outside walking my dogs approx 3 years ago - the weather suddenly turned - no shelter for a mile - wind and sleet came in a 45 degrees and froze my right ear jaw an that side of my head. so painful - went to the doctors - he said it'll pass in a couple of days.
the pain stayed for about 3 weeks - then i found that every few weeks the pain would return especially round the ear and sinus area - I became prone to ear infections - ear hole always moist/wet.
My teeth also started to ache - not just one but all along the lower jaw and some teeth along the top. (all on the right side)
I went to the doctors about this and he wouldn't even give me Antibiotics .
on several occasions couldn't sleep for days for the pain - started to worsen - ear, behind the right eye, sinus area, jaw and jawbone top and bottom.
Luckily about a year ago I went to my local hospital early one sunday morning and ears, nose and throat specialist saw me - said I had an infection (couldn't touch my right side of my head and the ear was red raw)he gave me Antibiotics - this gave relief for about a month.
infections continued every month for another year or so - on/off always with jaaw pain etc.
About 9 months ago I stopped smoking - felt immediately better for about a month but then health worsened ear infections started again, plus a couple of other problems.
Anyway - decided to do a Water Fast - I did a 5 day fast - that made me feel a lot better with the detox etc
about 3 months ago I did a 15 day fast - about 1 week into my fast - i experienced extreme pain - similar to the time i was caught out in the wind and sleet.
this was continual for 5 days - this included the sinus, jaw, ear, pain also the bone round my ear hole and to the front.
My tongue and the roof of my mouth became very sensitive too - I couldn't let my tongue rest against the roof of my mouth - just too painful -
The pain in my mouth was I think from years of damage to cells from inhaling smoke - I literally saw tiny new blood vessels forming during those 5 days.
My ears, head ,jaw, were all extremely painful at the same time - especially the bone area around the ear hole and the lower jaw bone.
I would guess that i had suffered nerve damage for that severe weather exposure and then subsequent infection and reinfection.
Anyway - for three months now I have had no reinfection and virtually no pain - just the odd tooth ache.
I hope this is useful information.
