Sorry, about the name change, but while in the mountains I couldn't stay away from curezone, so I joined as razenkane up there. How great that your dogs are doing so well. When in the mountains I picked up an ACV and grapejuice tonic with tinctures of ginseng, goldenseal, echinacea, blackwalnut, licorice root, anise, cinnamon, cloves, chickweed, fenugreek, it also has water and applejuice. I got this for me, for some reason I offered some to the dog and he seemed to like it.

Between the change in terrain, we live in Florida(flat,flat,flat), the mountain air, the MSM, the tonic and having my undivided attention, he is back to his old self. Really sound in the rear, able to jump in my truck without help and running the fence line. On vacation, we saw a big buck deer and he was as astounded as I was. Also we went on a pretty difficult hike to Linville falls(even though it was the easier of two routes), he was able to jump up and rest his front paws on a wall to get a look down at the falls below, and this was well into the hike.

Butterfly, you mention twitching in your dogs sleep. Often dogs dream, and when they do you see twitching paws, hear semi barking noises, look and see if there is rapid eye movement. Your dog may just be dreaming, I think rem would be the determination, as compared to a seizure.

When doing acupressure, reflexology on a dog, remember the pressure points, blocked meridians can be very sore, sometimes the lightest touch is very sore. As a person I have been able to endure this when having reflexology done to me. An animal won't be able to take it, you have to start out with a very light touch. As things get loosened up you can apply more pressure. The best touch is from someone you love, this holds most true in dogs. Tap into your inter feeling and begin rubbing your dog, you will know what makes them feel better.
