what msteve said.

when i had really bad adult Acne several years ago, a liver supplement helped get rid of most of it, called Livton Complex, by Standard Process. It had liver healing herbs like milk thistle. You can try something like that, but that will actually cost you more money than liver flushing, it will take less time/energy investment. You can find Standard Process online.

Now I have occasional breakouts when I eat a bit of chocolate, or during my period. I have found that hormone levels are one of the first things Liver Cleansing seems to help for me, my period was irregular for many months before the first flush, and with that flush, it became regular again.

you could expect your Acne to get worse for awhile before it gets better during flushing, know that the end result is going to be better than the first detox symptoms.

regarding going vegetarian, i am not so i have little advice, however it's all a matter of priorities, your health is the single most important thing in your life. get as much of your food organic as you can afford, eat it all (do not let it rot in the fridge), vegetables and beans and rice are much less pricey than meat. pricey tofu is not a necessity. i think the main thing is to listen to your body, and if not make major dietary changes, limit the amount of meat, bad oils, etc. in general over-eating (which is very expensive) is much worse than being an omnivore. spoken from the decendant of a healthy woman who cooked much of her food in pork lard and lived to nearly 100.
